Mr Suzuki Eiichi is a proudful artisan. He is making papers with his own cultivated Kozo and Mitsumata. Generally said, Washi paper is better to be stored at least a couple of years. Because it is required to settle down the interlocking of fibres. Based on this, he does not sell his paper until three years pass after he made it, like vintage wine.
His paper is mainly provided for Chūson-ji, which is one of the most important temples in Japan.
Recently, four of the local people were trained under him to maintain the Tōzan Washi history.
