Although the Tengujo-shi is known as Tosa paper at present, it was originally Mino paper. Mr Ishihara has been tackling to keep its tradition down the generations in Mino. This paper is almost the limit of thinness by handmade. The original Tengujo-shi is made with gauze screen to erase the mat mark, but this is made with just a bamboo screen.
