Every valley villages produced Washi widely in this area. The technical and material points of view, it is guessed that they were closely linked with Ogawa Washi. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>In the modern period, the last workshop closed in 1963. After that, in 1987, the local government built the &#8220;Gund\u014d-shi House&#8221; to remain the washi making history and technique. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>They use local wild Kozo, very rare species like Hime-Kozo (Kozo original species) and Tsuru-Kozo (Vine Kozo).
